Pathway of Hope
Veronica first approached The Salvation Army seeking housing assistance. During conversations, it became evident to the caring caseworker that Veronica and her family could benefit from the Pathway of Hope program. She has begun setting goals to move forward and has been provided utility payment assistance, basic needs support, and food assistance.
Veronica has faced numerous challenges, both professionally and personally. She had to take on various jobs to make ends meet, which unfortunately took quality time away from her and her children. Despite these difficulties, Veronica has successfully reinstated her employment and is confident in achieving her goals. She is committed to being a positive role model for her children.
Her children are currently attending a Summer Day Camp organized by the Salvation Army. The children will also get to spend a week at overnight Camp Keystone in Starke, FL, which offers a variety of activities such as horseback riding, swimming, enjoying the lake, arts & crafts, and much more, all at no cost to her. Additionally, the children will receive backpacks, school supplies, and support through the Angel Tree Christmas Program.
With continued support and Veronica's determination, achieving financial stability and securing a better future for herself and her children is highly achievable. Despite her challenges, she maintains an incredibly positive attitude as she works towards her success.
